Leadership
Founder & Creative Director
Kenneth Stephens is a serial entrepreneur who owned and operated several small businesses. After achieving sobriety in 2018, he founded Spotlight The Good, a charitable organization dedicated to raising awareness and support for individuals and organizations making a positive impact in their communities. Kenneth has spent decades serving others through volunteer work with Tennessee organizations, including Camp Koinonia, Room In The Inn, and Camp Easterseals. Through Spotlight The Good, he has created a sustainable platform that enables both himself and others to consistently give back and support those in need.
Co-Founder & Director of Production
Corey brings a sharp creative eye and technical mastery to every production, ensuring every story is captured with clarity, depth, and impact.
Business and Information Technology
Ann serves as Chief Operations Officer for Spotlight The Good, bringing a Bachelor of Science in Business and IT Management as well as a strong commitment to detail and human wellbeing to the organization. Originally from Michigan and a resident of Nashville for the past 12 years, she has supported Spotlight The Good from its earliest concept through each phase of development. She has a heart for service and a sustained interest in the systems that support and advance the organization's vision. It is her responsibility to keep projects organized, maintain clear communication, and ensure consistent follow-through to support the team while the company's goals move forward. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and attending live music events.
Marketing and Social Media
Kya Caravella has a degree in marketing, a background in health and wellness, and a passion for storytelling. With a heart for helping people feel seen, understood, and valued, Kya believes that every person carries a unique story that adds beauty to the world—like pieces of a stained-glass mosaic, each one reflecting its own light. Through her work in marketing and social media, Kya hopes to help amplify those lights, connect people to one another, and shine a spotlight on the good happening all around us. She believes that when we share stories, create meaningful connections, and empower one another, we have the opportunity to make the world a little brighter.
Chief Financial Officer
Spencer is a proud Nashvillian that hopes to encourage healing and mental health within a community surrounded by substances. After graduating from Alabama and earning his CPA license, Spencer married the love of his life, Makenzie, who miraculously converted him into a cat person. After a career in healthcare finance, Spencer sees his true purpose in helping Spotlight The Good's message reach as many people as possible.
Director of Operations
I am a husband, father of five, and proud to be four years sober at 25 years old. My life has been shaped by both hard work and personal transformation, guided by a strong faith in God that continues to direct my path and purpose. My journey through addiction and into recovery has given me a firsthand understanding of the struggles many face. Today, I am dedicated to supporting others as they pursue freedom from addiction and navigate life's most difficult moments. I believe that while each person's story is unique, we are all connected through the shared human experience. My goal is to meet people where they are, connect on a human level, and help create pathways toward hope, growth, and lasting change. Driven by a deep commitment to service and connection, I strive to use my experiences to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
